PUBLIX WAREHOUSE JOBS 2010

For your students that are interested in working in our Deerfield Warehouse/Manufacturing plant, please understand that one has to be 18 to work there. If eligible and interested, there is a process for applicants to follow.

At www.publix.com/careers/Distribution.do, you can learn about the various career opportunities available in our warehouse environment and read why some Publix associates have made our company their career. We don’t have many openings right now, but if you browse through what’s there, you can get ideas of what you might want to do. You will see how each position lists the duties of each job and the skills, experience and education that you must have to be considered. To view Manufacturing, Distribution and Corporate positions that are open to outside candidates go to on www.publix.jobs/support.

I recommend that they view these postings on a regular basis. If they find a posting that interest them, and for which they are qualified, there will be specific instructions in the posting concerning how to express their interest. It is important that they pay attention to these instructions because those instructions are the only way an applicant can be considered for these positions. When they send in their application on www.publix.jobs/support, it goes directly to the hiring manager for review. If their experience and skills appear to be a good fit for the position, they will be contacted for an interview. If they do not see a position their interested in, they can create a profile and set up a job agent which will notify them when positions become available.
